Many people arrive at therapy not because everything has fallen apart, but because staying regulated, connected, or rested has started to feel harder than it used to.

You might be functioning well on the outside, yet feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted inside. You may understand your patterns clearly, but still struggle to shift them when stress, closeness, or responsibility increases.

Therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and begin relating to yourself with more safety and compassion.

This work may be helpful if…

You tend to be thoughtful, capable, and used to managing a lot on your own, yet feel emotionally overwhelmed, depleted, or disconnected inside.

You might understand your patterns intellectually, but still struggle with emotional regulation, especially under stress or in close relationships. You may over-function for long periods, take responsibility easily, and then find yourself depleted or shut down.

Many people I work with worry about being “too much,” minimize their needs, or find it hard to ask for support, even when they are struggling.

Some clients come specifically seeking trauma-focused therapy. Others are trying to make sense of long-standing emotional and relational patterns that no longer feel sustainable.

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and paced. Therapy here is not about fixing or pushing through, but about creating enough safety for your nervous system to soften, so change can happen gradually and with care.

You don’t need to be in crisis to begin.

If this resonates, we can explore working together.

How I work...

I am a trauma-informed psychologist currently undergoing specialised training in trauma-focused Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and work under regular clinical supervision. My work is grounded in ethical, reflective practice and prioritises emotional safety, collaboration, and pacing.

I primarily work with adults who over-function, feel emotionally overwhelmed, and struggle with regulation and connection despite strong insight and self-awareness. My sessions focus on helping clients move out of survival-based self-management and into greater emotional regulation, self-trust, and healthier connection.

My therapeutic approach draws from EFIT, alongside evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and mindfulness-based approaches. These are integrated thoughtfully based on each client’s needs, goals, and nervous system capacity.

Alongside psychotherapy, I also bring a holistic, body-aware lens informed by yoga, somatic awareness, and menstrual cycle wisdom. These elements are introduced gently and only where clinically appropriate and client-led.

I work in a way that is slow, honest, and rooted in deep listening, with space for all parts of you to be seen, felt, and held.

Areas I commonly support clients with, though therapy is always shaped collaboratively around your specific experience:

Emotional Regulation and Overwhelm

Supporting clients who feel emotionally flooded, shut down, or disconnected, and helping build clarity, regulation, and capacity to stay present with emotions without becoming overwhelmed.

Trauma & Developmental Relational Trauma

Trauma-informed therapy for experiences of emotional neglect, chronic misattunement, inconsistent caregiving, or identifiable traumatic events, with a focus on safety, pacing, and relational repair.

Burnout, Over-Functioning & Chronic Stress

Working with high-functioning adults who carry responsibility easily, struggle to slow down, and feel emotionally or physically depleted, often cycling between overdrive and exhaustion.

Adult Relationships, Attachment & Boundaries

Exploring relational patterns with partners, parents, and peers, including people-pleasing, emotional withdrawal, difficulty expressing needs, and challenges with boundaries and closeness.

Identity, Self-Trust & Healing Emotional Neglect

Supporting clients in rebuilding self-trust, reducing guilt and perfectionism, and developing a more compassionate inner relationship after growing up in emotionally invalidating environments.

Menstrual Cycle Awareness & Body-Based Integration

For clients who are interested, therapy may include gentle exploration of menstrual cycle awareness and body-based signals as a way to deepen self-understanding and regulation. This is always optional and client-led.
